A partnership between
A letter from GES
Ghana Education Service (GES), in partnership with Learning for Humanity (L4H), and the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing, University of Waterloo, Canada (CEMC), wish to welcome SHS Mathematics Teachers in Ghana to the Mathematics Continuous Professional Development portal.
As a partnership, a survey was conducted to help understand how teachers across Ghana feel about certain aspects of mathematics education and to determine how to best direct teacher support and professional development. This motivated the development of this CPD portal by GES, L4H and CEMC.
On this portal, public SHS Mathematics Teachers will broaden their teaching skills through a blend of plenary and parallel sessions, hands-on workshops, and dynamic discussions to enable them to reimagine offering math education in ways that are student-centered, creative, and impactful.
GES, L4H, and CEMC therefore welcome all teachers invited to take advantage of this opportunity.
